Karthigai month starts today in the Tamil calendar and for us, the Kolam Enthusiasts have the luxury of placing lamps in/on the kolams.
Placing lamps on kolams isn't advisable as it has a deep connection to spirituality as per the Hindu faith and Karthigai Month gets the exemption.
The task kolam with 15-8 dots with a single 6-pointed star in devotion to Lord Muruga and lamps for @kolamenthusiasts #kolamenthusiastskarthigaikondattam, yet mine had been famished by gobbling two dots shrunk to 13-7.
Place the Dots
Sprinkle a few drops of water to clean the floor. Put down 7-Dot dots in straight, even spacing using white rice powder or chalk.
Start from the Center
