Sikku Kolam - 99

A small sikku kolam for the last run in the two digit numbering for sikku kolams. I just started the sikku kolam numbering for fun, never imagined that, I would cross 100. And Yes, I am on the verge to hit the century. Sikku kolams are mainly from my mother's collection. In fact, some are yet to be copied. She had a huge collection of 11 dot count sikku kolams in her notebook. But I couldn't copy due to some hassles.. As I have shared the story of the hide and seek game story which the note book played with me in my previous post, and stil it is safe in its hideout. I don't know whether I can retrieve it from its hibernation spot. I have collected some sikku kolams from books and magazines.. A quickupdateof this kolam./sikku-kolam-123/ Without knowing that I have drawn this kolam earlier, I proceeded to try this kolam... This gives a proof that I don't stick to the original at all and have poor abilities in copying.

I create sikku kolams having a small sikku kolam as a base design and extend it to a greater dot count. I have done it and uploaded it in site.. Now a days I don't find time to create sikku kolam.. Once a friend of mine gave me an imposition to draw a 25 dots kolam when I was loitering around without drawing kolams. I took 4 dot sikku kolam as the base design and worked to fit in a 25 dots..

This kolam is a 7x7 square grid pattern dot count. I have added three extra dots to make it look like a 9 dots kolam. Hope the extra elements look good. An easy kolam to draw as it doesn't have much tangle. I will be uploading the step by step procedure of drawing this kolam soon...
